How to Boot a Pendrive with ISO
Steps to Create a Bootable Pendrive
- Download and install. Rufus.
- Insert the USB pendrive into your computer.
- Open Rufus. Your USB device should be automatically detected.
- In the Boot selection dropdown, click on "Select" and choose the ISO file.
- Leave the other settings as default and click on "Start".
- Wait for the process to complete. This may take a few minutes.
- Once done, safely eject your USB pendrive.
Boot from the USB Pendrive
- Insert the USB pendrive into the computer you want to boot.
- Restart the computer and enter the BOOT MENU by pressing the required key (usually F2, F12, DEL, or ESC).
- Select the USB pendrive as a boot device.
- Your computer should now boot from the USB pendrive.
- Wait for the issue to be fixed automatically and reboot into your existing normal OS.
